Overview of the Department’s Research Profile The Department of Physics and Mathematics at the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (IFNTUOG), established by merging the Departments of Higher Mathematics, General and Applied Physics, and Applied Programming, is a powerful hub for fundamental and applied research. The department’s research work is conceptually centred on the theme ‘Methods of the theory of analytic functions of several complex variables and their potential applications in the physics

of semiconductor films and oil and gas engineering’. At the same time, the department’s staff are now conducting research for the third time as part of projects that have received grants from the National Research Foundation of Ukraine.
