Master’s Program “Information Technologies for Sustainable Energy Engineering” (IT4SEї) — a unique English-language dual degree program of IFNTUOG and London South Bank University (LSBU, United Kingdom). The program prepares a new generation of specialists at the intersection of IT and energy, allowing them to obtain world-class international education without leaving Ukraine. In 2026, IT4SEE won a prestigious award “House of Europe” in the category “Best International Educational Collaboration” — among 463 applications from across the country.

Two diplomas in 1.5 years
Upon successful completion of their studies, graduates receive two master’s degrees simultaneously: a state diploma from IFNTUOG and a British diploma from London South Bank University. The program lasts for three semesters — 1.5 years. The entire educational process is conducted in English, fostering fluent professional communication and knowledge of international terminology.
The program is implemented within the framework of the British-Ukrainian initiative Twinning supported by Mosaik Education and validated by LSBU in accordance with UK higher education law requirements. LSBU is among the top 100 universities in the United Kingdom.
International Accreditation and Recognition
IT4SEE — the first and only program in the Ivano-Frankivsk region that passed international accreditation from the German agency ZEvA (accreditation term — until 2031). The program is registered in European Register EQAR, which guarantees the recognition of diplomas in the countries of the European Union, the United Kingdom, as well as North and South America.
What students study
The curriculum was jointly developed by Ukrainian and British experts and covers four interconnected blocks:
- IT Direction: data analysis, front-end and back-end development, software testing, artificial intelligence methods, design and development of information systems for energy monitoring, computer modeling.
- Energy Direction: principles of renewable energy, energy sustainability and resilience, energy control and audit, standards and quality management systems in the energy sector.
- Management and Innovation:I T project management, sustainable development economics, intellectual property and standardization in energy.
- Soft Skills: English language for business communication, teamwork, and leadership.

- Access to British resources. Students have full access to online libraries, educational materials, and academic resources at LSBU.
- Summer School in London. Participants of the program can take part in a summer school in London, where they study entrepreneurship and innovation alongside students from all over the world.

Admission Requirements
Applications are invited from bachelor’s degree holders in engineering and technical specialties, as well as graduates from other fields who wish to change their profession. To apply, it is necessary to: confirm the level of English language proficiency (ЄВІ), pass the internal exam at IFNTUNG in professional competence, and write a motivation letter. Education is available on a contract basis at a democratic cost, making British education truly accessible for Ukrainian youth.
