Business Incubator is an innovative structural unit of the university, the mission of which is to consolidate the efforts of educational institutions, research institutions and businesses to implement innovative forms of entrepreneurship support, promotion of activities, use of modern, interactive methods of business training and practical business training of students in the territory of the Ivano-Frankivsk community and the Ivano-Frankivsk region, which ensures their further employment in entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main areas of work of the Business Incubator:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) business training of students;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) support of entrepreneurship in the city and region;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) development of innovative activities and promotion of social entrepreneurship;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4) implementation of international activities, including project activities;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5) promotion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The services of the Business Incubator include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

so-called “physical infrastructure” services – an office or separate work space for a business entity, as well as access to office equipment, which for beginners may be too expensive to purchase;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

secretarial services, as well as “office” services (copying, scanning, processing, printing documents, etc.) – especially useful for newly created enterprises;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

communication services, connection and information services – free Wi-Fi, access to information and reference literature and periodicals;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

security and protection services – the ability to store documents in a safe, external security of the premises and territory of the Business Incubator;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

legal, accounting support, consulting services on business planning, feasibility studies of projects, consultations on attracting investments, financial support for businesses, etc.;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

advertising, promotion and marketing services \u2013 access to databases of potential suppliers, consumers, business partners, investors, distributors;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

educational and educational services \u2013 organization and holding of seminars, conferences, meetings in the format of \u201cround tables\u201d on topical issues of doing business or at the individual request of clients;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

training services \u2013 training of necessary professional and technical skills, advanced training courses;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cknow-how\u201d services \u2013 assistance with licensing, implementation of \u201cknow-how\u201d, innovative activities;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cpost-incubation\u201d package of business services \u2013 individual consulting support for business incubators, preparation for a smooth \u201cexit\u201d from the Business Incubator;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

scientific consulting for enterprises, institutions, organizations within the framework of the research work of the Institute of Economics and Management of IFNTUNG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Business Incubator was established on September 9, 2013 under the international project HUSKROUA 0901\/123 “Enhancing the entrepreneurial potential of border areas through the creation of entrepreneurship support institutions” within the framework of the Cross-Border Cooperation Program of the European Neighborhood and Partnership Instrument “Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine 2007-2013”. Ten years later, the Business Incubator was scaled up – on August 1, 2023, the Center for Creative Economy and Sustainable Development (educational, scientific and production center for socio-economic development) was founded on its basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Center was created to activate the functioning of the “green” economy, apply the principles of sustainable development, implement creative entrepreneurial ideas, eco-innovative solutions, digitalization, socialization and scaling of business in the Ivano-Frankivsk community. The main task of the Center is to form an ecosystem of creative economy and sustainable development by providing consulting, information and consultation, educational and training, educational support to potential and existing business entities of the Ivano-Frankivsk community in the following key areas: creative economy and development of creative entrepreneurship; “green” economy and sustainable development; digitalization of business and scaling of development.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Business Incubator operates within the structure of the Institute of Economics and Management of the IFNTUONG to provide a resource base for the educational process, conduct scientific events, various educational events, and implement project activities. An important aspect of recent years of work has been the implementation of the international project “Sustainable Development of SMEs in the Ivano-Frankivsk Community on the Principles of a “Green”, Innovative, Creative Economy” jointly with the Department of Economic Development, Ecology and Energy Saving of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council under the international assistance program “EU4Business: Recovery, Competitiveness and Internationalization of SMEs”, which is jointly funded by the European Union and the German government and implemented by the German federal company Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH (11.04.23\u201331.12.23). Within the project framework: a number of events were organized and held to establish the \u201cbusiness-government-science\/education\u201d chain (round table \u2013 presentation of the project, mainly involving the scientific sector of the community; two workshops for business (on the topics: \u201cEnergy efficiency and green economy\u201d and \u201cInnovation and creativity in business\u201d); two theoretical and practical training courses, with a total duration of 144 hours each (\u201cFundamentals of business\u201d and \u201cCreative economy, digitalization of business and sustainable development\u201d); a business plan competition was held among potential SMEs and mentoring support was provided for 36 hours to its three winners; a final conference based on the project results; a website for business \u201cIvano-Frankivsk \u2013 a city friendly to business\u201d was developed at the address: https:\/\/business.ivano-frankivsk.ua\/, on which the Center\u2019s page is provided and operates as a separate tab Business Incubator Center for Creative Economy | Official Business Development Website of Ivano-Frankivsk (business.ivano-frankivsk.ua); 4 (four) videos of business ideas of project participants and about the Center for Creative Economy and Sustainable Development for business with a total duration of up to 4 minutes each were developed; 100 representatives of SME communities were provided with individual support – 190 individual consultations were provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second interesting case is the implementation of the \u201cSuccess in Business\u201d training program on an ongoing basis. This is a theoretical and applied training course for potential and existing entrepreneurs, aimed at gaining knowledge and skills in establishing and running their own business. This training program has been implemented by the Business Incubator of IEM IFNTUNG since 2019, tested in practice and adapted to the characteristics and needs of the target group – business representatives of the Ivano-Frankivsk community. The course is implemented twice a year, lasting up to 2 months, annually, free of charge for participants with the assistance of the mayor and the city council of the Ivano-Frankivsk community. The customer and organizer of the course is the Department of Economic Development, Ecology and Energy Saving of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
